Ventura’s Tamales believes that freshness makes all the difference. That’s why our taco shells aren’t something we buy in bulk and store for weeks. Instead, we make them from scratch at our certified, food-inspected production facility right here in Victoria, Texas. Our off-site production facility is also where we prepare our famous tamales, and it meets all legal regulations for food safety.
While other restaurants might bring in taco shells from large suppliers, we take a different approach to deliver fresh ingredients daily to our clients. Our shells are made using simple ingredients and they’re completely gluten-free. The goal is to keep them as fresh as possible from the moment they leave our fryer to the second they hit your plate.

Each day, our team prepares batches of taco shells in a large fryer designed specifically for this purpose. By making the shells ourselves, we have complete control over texture, flavor, and quality. That means every taco you order at Ventura’s Tamales is served in a shell that was made just days, sometimes only hours, before you take your first bite.
